Kim Redman Ottawa OH Obituary, Death: The community of Ottawa, Ohio, is mourning the loss of Kimberly Ann Redman, a longtime public servant and beloved family figure, who died on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the age of 56. Redman passed away at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, leaving behind a legacy defined by dedication to her community and deep love for her family.

Born on February 25, 1970, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Michael and Angela (Hurst) Maag, Redman built a life centered on service and connection. She married her husband, Ken Redman, in 1994, and together they shared more than three decades of marriage. She is survived by her husband, their daughter Elsa Redman and her partner Jake Sweet, as well as her siblings, Paul Maag and Amanda Iannotta.

Redman’s professional career was marked by steady commitment and leadership. She began working at the Putnam County Courthouse in 2003 and was elected Clerk of Courts in 2018. In that role, she earned respect for her integrity and determination. She was also active in the Ohio Clerk of Courts Association, serving as a district leader, and contributed locally as president of the Putnam County Optimist Club and treasurer and member of the Putnam County Republican Party Central Committee.

Beyond her public service, those close to Redman describe her as compassionate, spirited and deeply devoted to her loved ones. She was known for her warmth, sense of humor and appreciation for life’s simple joys, from time spent with family to her love of movies and travel. Her family described her as a supportive partner and attentive mother who offered unwavering encouragement.

A celebration of life is scheduled for May 23, 2026, at the Ottawa VFW, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and lasting impact.
